Amitabh Bachchan Ji said that he felt honoured by this experience of bearing the torch when thousands and thousands of people cheered for him in London on Thursday.
The 69-year-old bollywood superstar brought the torch through the Southwark in South London, one day before the opening ceremony of the Olympics 2012. The streets were packed with people cheering and shouting his name loud.The crowd clicked pictures as the “Big B” jogged with the Olympic flame. It was an indescribable experience for the Big-B.
“Faced many situations where enormity of crowd and its response was unbelievable. But today with Olympic torch it was indescribable,” he tweeted afterwards. “It is not a flame you hold, it is the pride of 1.25 billion people of India.
